How it all Started...
It all started in 1987 with exploring ideas for science fairs. Andrew began research on the use of conductivity electrodes and the difference between AC/DC power to stimulate the brain and mind. Andrew began research on the speed of light, and the movement of protons and electrons.
This research, (along with numerous science fairs between 1986-1989) resulted in Andrew building the first AI program for the personal computer. Albeit simple, this program had the ability to ask the user a battery of questions on a given topic, for example 'what kind of animal are you thinking about right now'.
Based on the users responses, the program would then provide the user with a response. The user would then confirm whether or not the program had correctly identified the animal the user was thinking of. If it was wrong, it would ask the user to provide specific information that differentiated the animal you were thinking from the animal what it guessed.
From there, the system would automatically incorporate a new question into the battery of questions which would result in the program having a higher likelihood of being accurate the next time..
